Website for the shared office Mercur in Kolding

Mercur office community in Kolding, goes by the name "Kolding's perhaps finest office building". The property is located next to Kristkirken just off Haderslevvej which is close to Kolding city centre.

We were commissioned to build a new website for Kontorfællesskabet Mercur and have been working together ever since. We have redesigned the company brand identity, built a unique website in WordPress and created a long term and reliable digital presence which includes; Website, booking system, hosting and service/support.

In addition to creating a nice profile for the office building, it was also important that the different leases could be presented in a simple way. In developing the new website, this gave us the opportunity to design the website and create the presentation of the leases exactly as Mercur wanted.

Mercur office sharing should also use a booking system, as they have some shared meeting rooms that tenants can borrow. Mercur already had a custom developed booking system and this booking system, in itself, was very good with the features that Mercur needed. However, as the system had not been updated or maintained for perhaps 10 years, there were huge security gaps and no guarantee of how long it would continue to work. Mercur therefore had a look at some already popular systems, which however locked in the features that those systems had. This wasn't good enough, so the result was a solution where we developed a new meeting room booking system for Mercur as an extension to WordPress. The booking system was thus developed according to the functionalities and needs that Mercur had. No less and no more.
