Some of the first WordPress Website development that I have done for a company can be found in my archive, dated to 07.11.2007. My interest in web design and websites etc. started earlier though and I remember I had a spare time job at a machine shop where I also helped to update the website with images etc. via ftp. That must have been in the early zeroes. A lot of water has run into the beach since then and both the opportunities and my skills have obviously developed a lot since then 😂

My web development skills range from building mobile-friendly websites that work perfectly across browsers to building scalable WooCommerce shops or developing WordPress plugins. Send me an mockup and I code a WordPress theme for the purpose. Every WordPress theme I develop is professionally designed and built from the ground up in a "design proof" layout, meaning everything works as expected and there's no way to mess up the layout, which also makes for a consistent look and a professional website.

I am a web developer who, besides being technically competent, also has a commercial mindset, which means that I have an attitude towards things and a good practical understanding. I focus on creating coherence between design, identity and functionality so that what we do has a positive value today and in the future. Web Developer or Web Designer?

I've been working with WordPress for many years (+10 years) and the first few years I probably saw myself more as a web designer than a web developer. However, I learned pretty quickly to build nice websites and have always worked with the premise that I want to know the code and no customers should be spared with a cheap off-the-shelf solution made in some theme builder. Over the years I also started doing work like developing WP plugins, APIs and other cool features. So yaaeh web developer specializing in WordPress that's me. However, my graphic skills come in handy in the form that in my work I have a good amount of creativity in my backpack and thus can produce a well-executed piece of work that is both well coded but can also look aesthetically pleasing.
