Website for tourist attraction in Haderslev municipality

The fjord boat Helene offers sailing trips through Haderslev Fjord is an exceptionally beautiful natural experience. The 12 km long narrow bay fjord is very varied and gives the sailor a unique chance to get close to a fascinating interaction between water and land, animal and plant life.

Fjordbåden Helene needed a website where customers could book and pay for their trip online. In the past, all bookings were handled manually by phone or at reception, so an online model would make it easy for most people to book themselves. For this purpose, we built a custom WordPress/woocommerce theme with some specially developed sub-elements. The site has dedicated functionality for handling sailing trips, as well as a dedicated booking/reservation system built on WooCommerce core.
